Dulce María (born Dulce María Espinoza Saviñón, December 6, 1985) is a Mexican actress, singer, songwriter and author born in Mexico City, Federal District.
EARLY LIFE
Dulce María began her acting career at the age of six, appearing in commercials and children's shows such as Plaza Sésamo (the Mexican version of Sesame Street) and El Club de Gaby and so on. In 1996, she joined the pre-teen band, K.I.D.S. After leaving K.I.D.S. in 1999, she joined the band Jeans. Along with her shows, she did many commericails. Some for medicines, and some for mattres sales. Later on her small acts starting leading to bigger things
RBD
She is a member of Rebelde's spin-off musical group RBD since 2004. The band enjoys international fame. She considers bandmate Anahi her best friend and sister.
The group has released four albums to date (not including live recordings and "fan editions"). She wrote two songs for RBD: "Quiero Poder" for the "RBD: La Familia" soundtrack, and "Te Daría Todo" for the album "Empezar Desde Cero" Fan Edition. To date RBD has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide. They are one of the biggest selling Mexican Act in history.
On August 14, 2008, the group announced that it would break up after releasing one more album, due in 2009.
Dulce María's popularity has grown, and she has become a favorite among RBD's fans. She recently signed endorsement deals with Garnier and cKlass.
On November 25, 2008, "A Mi Edad", Tiziano Ferro's new album, was released in Mexico. The track El Regalo Más Grande features Dulce María and Anahi.
She published an autobiography, "Dulce Amargo", in which she shared her experiences, feelings and thoughts while on RBD. The book was distributed in many countries. On March 2009, the English version of her autobiography will be released in the United States.
Dulce María is launching a solo career with her RBD bandmate Anahi after the disbandment of RBD. Her debut album will feature songs written by her that were not included in RBD's releases.

PERSONAL LIFE
In the past years while Dulce Maria became more and more internationally recognized, so has her private life. One of the people that formed a part of her life for a while was fellow co-worker Alfonso Herrera whom she was with from 2002 to 2005. Later on Dulce was seen with a new romance, this time with soccer goalkeeper for the team 'America', Guillermo "Memo" Ochoa. This romance lasted about a year. Recently at the beginning of December 2008, tabloids have seen Dulce with Pablo Lyle. He plays her brother in her upcoming telenovela verano De Amor.
